Top 5 Ways I Save Time Homeschooling

If there's one thing we can always spend recklessly and never get back, it is our time.  As a parent, doesn't it seem like just YESTERDAY that you held that teen as a newborn in your arms OR does it seem like just last week when you got the call that the adoption papers were finalized?  Gosh, if I spend too much time dwelling on how fast the years have gone, I'll end up a basket case!

Time is SO precious, yet it is something we handle very lightly, losing minutes here and there.  So, I thought about some ways I try to save time homeschooling.

Organized homeschooling

I don’t know about you, but most days, I don’t feel very organized.  There seems to always be something out of place and a “to do” list that grows instead of shrinks.

But when I take a step back, I am actually more organized than I tell myself.  And being organized fits into my theme of “Save 10 in 2010″.  You gotta love a theme! :o)

Last food related tip? Probably not…

When I was in high school, I was a cashier at a local grocery store, Publix.  While this was not my ideal job by any stretch of the imagination, I had great friends that worked there with me (love ya Becky!) and it made it SO much fun.

One of the things I didn’t understand when I worked there was why all the little old ladies used to get really cranky
