Do you remember when homeschooling was REALLY WEIRD?  I mean much weirder than it is now?

I can only imagine the days of sitting in my living room, surrounded by children on the couch, floor, under the coffee table (what…your kids don’t hang out under there?  My coffee table must be cooler than yours. LOL!) and praying that the car that just drove by wasn’t a truancy officer on the prowl for the “weird family” that thinks the mom is capable (HA!) of educating her kids.

Have you heard the rumors about Kate Gosselin and having to homeschool two of her sextuplets? If you don’t know who she is, Kate is a now single mom who gained media attention when she gave birth to sextuplets. She and her ex-husband Jon got picked for a TV show on TLC and now she’s a sort of reality show celebrity. But this status hasn’t come without lots of criticism…and now homeschooling is being dragged with it.

Boy, that’s a lot of “F’s” in that title, huh?

Every Friday, I try to get YOUR feedback on some type of homeschool subject.  Today, I’m asking about your favorite foreign language curriculum and when you start teaching it.
