2011 Year End Blow Out Sale!
As 2011 comes to a close, I've decided to take the Mrs. Homeschool Store in a new direction. In 2012, I'm going to focus more on courses instead of individual products, hoping that these courses will be more beneficial for YOU to get the results you wanted when initially purchasing products.
So…
I'm clearing out my virtual shelves and selling all the products I currently have available at an insanely low price. And if you already have a business going, this is a great way to get some really good products that you can claim on your business taxes as expenses. (Now, please note I am NOT an accountant, so you will need to verify whether these courses qualify as valid deductions for your state or business.)
Weekend Updates!
I'm going to try SUPER hard to be short and sweet since it IS the weekend. :)
I've just setup a page for you to hear an AWESOME interview I did recently with a stay at home mom of 4 who has a business selling a very interesting product on eBay. I won't spoil the surprise. You'll have to go here to listen:
Finding Homeschool Curriculum Bargains

It’s that time of year again…time to buy curriculum to fill our children’s brains with useful information so they can be successful adults. (My goodness…please tell me this is NOT why you homeschool!)
William Butler Yeats said,
“Education is not filling a bucket, but lighting a fire.”
When you’re lighting that fire, you WILL need some materials to use as a match, right? So how can you do it and not bust your budget? Find used, but good condition curriculum that is affordable or find stuff for free online.
Serious couponing in action
I know it seems odd for a homeschool mom to be posting about her grocery shopping, but I just HAD to…just HAD to.
I will admit that to prepare for this BIG shopping trip, it took me a good 2 hours, but mostly because my original list was terrible and didn't include everything I wanted to get on this trip. But when all was said and done, I walked away amazed with a trunk full of food…although, do you really call the back part of a minivan a trunk? Not sure about that one.
