Use A Map!
As my husband and I prepare for an out of state move from NC to Florida, we’ve been talking a lot about how we’ll make it as low stress as possible. There is SO much to think about that goes beyond boxes and moving trucks. We’ve got lots of goals, or destinations, to talk about. Just like with any journey, without a map, it’s hard to know if we’re on the right path or not. This has all been spurred on by the book for May for Mrs. Homeschool’s Book Club,Linchpin by Seth Godin. Godin talks a lot about making a difference, being unique and mapping out HOW you’re going to do it.

Keeping Christmas in Heart
Seems like everyone is moving at break neck speed trying to “get ready” for Christmas. I’ll admit that we have days where we feel like we’re on “fast forward”, but for the most part, our family is pretty good at saying “no” to lots of the little extra things that fill our days and leave us empty.
