Look at what an 8 yr old can do!

Did you know I am a published author?  Yep.  Well, on Kindle I am.  I actually have 10 titles on my virtual bookshelf for Kindle (2 aren't live), I have another finished and waiting to upload and another in the works.  I am really nothing special…if I can do it, anyone can do it.

Here's a screen shot of my account…I did black out the titles and ASIN numbers for privacy.

Dramatic Changes to eBay for Sellers

changes in ebay's seller policies 2012Part of our family’s income stream is tied to eBay.  We use it for clients to generate leads and we also use it to sell “real” products.  I’ve been an eBay seller since 1998 and even created a course on how to make money on eBay.  There have been policy changes in the past like increased fees, increased restrictions on sellers, not being able to leave feedback for buyers.  (You can read all about it here.)

But the new ways to scalp sellers, I mean policy changes, have gone over the deep end this time in my opinion.

Amazon Explained Further

As you know, my last blog post was all about the new Proven Amazon Course that Jim Cockrum (and friends) recently released.  Last night, a friend sent me a message on Facebook asking for a few more details about selling on eBay vs. Amazon, so I thought I’d share my reply to her here, thinking it might help you decide if selling on Amazon is a good fit for you and your family.

“Ok…here’s my 2 cents.  eBay is still the place to sell one of a kind things like some of the things you mentioned finding.  Amazon is better for things someone might buy at a “regular” store, but not necessarily new.
