I understand why some people may think that it is just not possible for Christians to have a mental illness.  They look to the KJV of the Bible in 2 Timothy 1:7 that says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 

A while back, I asked a bunch of you (blog readers and Facebook friends) to tell me a bit about the struggles and challenges you have in regards to starting an online business.  What I discovered is that the choices are OVERWHELMING when it comes to the what or how or even why to start a business online.

"It is ok for kids to be a little bored from time to time."

That is the overall assessment a new friend and I came to while chatting in the car the other day.  It's not often I spend time with other moms, practically one on one, but our conversations inevitably revolve around our children or child rearing.  We were talking about escaping from the "rush, push, consume" mentality that so many of us have become part of, often without knowing it.  Getting into another culture has taken us both away from it and given us an interesting perspective on the topic.

If you're not following along with my craziness on Facebook, you may not know that our family has a HUGE announcement.  Not "huge" like a new baby is a huge announcement, but a pretty big one.

Our family of 7 has undertaken what most people would consider an impossible notion.  Many likely think we're out of our minds.  Some would love to do the same, but think they can't.

So what is it?

We have realized a long time dream and have moved to another country…Costa Rica!

As a blogger, sometimes writer's block hits and hits hard.  You struggle for days (or even weeks) to come up with a topic.  But for the past couple weeks, I've been tossing around a topic that just won't turn me loose! It struck me a few Sundays ago while we were in church that God is NOT a narrow God.  Now, you may be thinking, "Well, Miss Smartypants, what about the verse about how narrow the road is to heaven and all that?  Huh?"
