Win a Copy of my Auction Video Course!

If you’re on my email list, you already know that I am putting the finishing touches on my Auction Business 101 course…a video course that will walk you through how I currently run our family’s eBay business.

I love eBay.  I {heart} eBay.  And I think you can, too, even if you’ve not had a great experience with them in the past.

But eBay can be SO much more than just a place where you sell your old junk.  It can truly become an entire home based business than can add to or replace an income.

I have been on eBay as a seller since 1998…12 years this month, in fact…and I think it is a GREAT time for YOU to try it out.

So, obviously, I would LOVE for you to buy a copy of this course, but you can enter my little contest to try to WIN a copy!  I’m going to give away TWO courses to TWO winners.

There are several ways to get 1 entry each for the contest.  One winner will be chosen from people who enter via these methods:

  • Post a tweet about it on Twitter with hashtag #auctionbiz101 & then leave a link in a comment below with your Twitter.com/twittername
  • “Like” the Mrs Homeschool page on Facebook & post your Facebook name in a comment below
  • Share a link to the course on your Facebook profile & include your Facebook name in a comment below
  • Write a short post about it on your blog and leave the link to your post in a comment below

Note:  You will still get all the entries you qualify for if you leave all the info in just one comment.  Multiple comments are not necessary.

You can also enter this contest by sharing with me what has held you back in the past from selling on eBay AND why you feel it is a great time to start now.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE no sob stories.  This is not a “need based” contest.  I want to keep the comments as positive as possible.  I understand we’ve all had hard times and trials, but I want to hear how you have made a change from old mindsets and are ready to try something new that will work, if you apply yourself.  I will have my children read the comments and THEY will choose the person THEY think should win.

“Want to know what you’re playing for?”  (I’ve always wanted to say that…makes me feel like Jeff Probst, host of Survivor! LOL!)

Head on over to Auction Business 101 to read (and see) all about it.  Then come back and post your entries.  The contest will end on Sunday, October 17th at midnight Eastern time.  The winner will be announced HERE no later than 5pm on Monday, October 18th.

And the course will go LIVE on Tuesday, October 19th at noon Eastern time.

Best wishes to everyone and I look forward to seeing all your entries!

P.S.  There IS a special little freebie waiting for you over at Auction Business 101, so even if you don’t want to enter the contest (although I don’t know WHY you wouldn’t), you can get a little gift.  :o)

I would love to make some extra money. I would also like to have a small business that the kids could work at. I think this would be the ticket! Kids need to learn to be euntrapeneurs early in life. I would like to use this to that end. We also would love extra money to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thanks for your time and blessings, joy and prosperity to you and your family. Jennifer

    Hi Susan!

Super excited about this course and how it could benefit other families around the world! My twitter ID is http://twitter.com/RaisingCEOKids. On facebook I am http://Facebook.com/SarahCook and you can find our blog posting about it going live on Tuesday @ 2 AM PST called http://RaisingCEOKids.com/take-it-to-the-bank-tuesday-make-money-on-ebay (Let me know if I need to do a post before that in order for it to “count”)

What has held me back from selling on eBay in the past is not knowing what to price things at so that I would actually make money and not just waste my time.

So thrilled to see that you have put this together!

I have been praying for an opportunity to make some money for my family. I have always been interested in Ebay, but very intimidated by it. And I don’t have the time to do all the research that I thought it would take. I am excited about your course Susan!

  • Debrah

My facebook name is Debrah Brooks Archer. I have wanted to jump into EBay for a while now, and have lots of old ‘treasures’ around that I really need to clear. I am hesitant to jump into something that I don’t totally understand, though, as that generally leads to money loss during the learning curve. I am confident your course will give me the tools needed to tackle this challenge and take the first step. Thanks for putting this class together!

Hi, I need all the help I can get. I looked into selling on ebay and other sites but found it confusing. I posted a link to your course on my facebook page- Mayra Zielinski.

    Hi Susan,
First of all, I’ve been to your AuctionBusiness 101 link repeatedly but can’t seem to click through for details on how to sign up for the course. Probably just my lack of tech savy, but just in case, I thought I’d mention it.

Next I’d love to learn more about selling on e-bay. I have done some sales with my daughter as part of her economics class. However, our ads looked very amateurish which was fine for a school class, but obviously not a great way to run a business. Also, we took a hit on shipping with every order evn though her products were fairly small and light. Needless to say, I’m more than a little nervous about how to price shipping on larger items. I’m also worried about keeping records for tax purposes to show my expenses that would help offset any income I might actually generate.

Finally, money is tight, so I’ve been praying about what my role should be in dealing with the situation. This class seems like it could be an answer, and being able to do it for free would be wonderful. I keep trying to participate in free or inexpensive webinars and class, but so far, I can’t seem to follow through after it’s done. Maybe it’s my lack of tech skill or maybe it’s just fear of doing it wrong, but I hope that having you look over my first ad will be a good incentive to actually start listing things.

    Thanks for sharing this opportunity!

    Hi Lyn!

FYI: The course is not live yet, so there is no way to sign up for it until I make the buttons “live” on Tuesday. So it’s not your lack of being tech savvy…it’s the lack of an option. :o)

Thanks for your entry. The winner will be announced Monday!

    Blessings,
    Susan :o)

    Hi Susan,

Would love to learn this skill. I have no idea how to even start this process. Hope I win!

  • connie

I think this is a skill I can learn and pass on to my children. We could also make it fun and learn together and see how much we could sell and make money for all those things that we never seem to be able to afford. It would also help my kids get rid of stuff we don’t need and bless someone else with. We would be excellent students with an open mind. Thanks!

Oops! I also posted a link on my FB page. Sorry to clutter things up with another comment.

I’ve wanted to sell things on Ebay for awhile, but the learning curve has scared me off. I’m searching for a way to make some extra cash for our family that would fit into our busy homeschool family. I posted a link on my Facebook under Kristi Canfield. Blessings!
