SO Thankful for Options!
Most Americans are going to be gathering around their family tables this Thanksgiving to celebrate the coming together of two VERY different cultures almost 400 years ago. What a wonderful demonstration those early US settlers and Native peoples gave us of how to embrace the good in others and find ways to work together towards unity.
Those brave pilgrims (and I’d also venture to say that the Native Americans were also quite brave…dealing with strange people in their homeland!) fled their homes and families in Europe in search of freedom and OPTIONS!
I hear from so many homeschool families who are in search of a different kind of freedom, financial freedom, and options…like knowing they have the skills to produce an income, no matter what type of work environment they may be in…or not in!
There are days when I feel like our options are being stolen away from us on a regular basis, but I know that with God, all things are possible and because of the person He has wired me to be, I will always have options.
Whether I choose to follow a set curriculum, or not, or if I choose to take a week off from schooling, or not, or if I choose to start a new business, or not…all these are options available to me on a daily basis.
This Thanksgiving is different for our family in many different ways, but the biggest way is that we now see the many options available to us and know that all we need to do is choose one, apply it and see it to completion (or automation) and then we can start over again.
But this is not just something that is reserved for our family. Certainly not!!
There are seemingly infinite ways you and your family can become a Multiple Revenue Streams family. There’s no real “right” answer that anyone else can prescribe for you, but I can help inspire you and show some options that are available to you.
In January 2010, I’ll be launching my MRSHomeschool.com members site. Each month, I’ll be interviewing a new MRS Homeschool mom (or dad or child!!) and we’ll talk about how they are embracing their options and expanding their incomes.
Stay tuned for more details (it’s going to be SO affordable, I’m afraid you might not see the value in it!), but for TODAY…
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 107:1
