We all have fears when we start something new, whether it’s homeschooling or starting a business.  As I said in the video, I am in the process of putting together a project that really forced me (and continues to) push me through the wall of fears I’ve had about being a failure AND being successful.

Sounds bizarre to fear success, doesn’t it?  But if you think about it, there are many things that come with success that are a bit scary! 

• What if business grows too fast and you’re not ready? 
• Are you ready to keep up with all the new clients or customers? 
• What will a bigger business mean to your schedule and family life?

It seems like most people are more “in touch” with the fears of failure like being embarrassed or losing time and money because your idea didn’t work out like you’d hoped.  But fearing success is actually more common that you’d think…most people just don’t verbalize it.

I’ll talk about some of the ways I have been pushing through these fears in the next few days.  But for now, I need to head into the kitchen to fix lunch.  My husband is in there now and there’s no telling what the kids will be getting for lunch! :o)
