Passing the torch
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven" Ecclesiastes 3:1
Due to some new business endeavors, namely a new family travel magazine for iPad, I am prayerfully considering selling mrshomeschool.com and everything that goes along with it (Facebook page, entire website with 109 posts and over 112 comments and I will email my mailing list [over 300 people] telling them about the new ownership and pointing them to any new email list sign up form).
Need a Science Fair Project Idea Book?
I just published ANOTHER book on Kindle! Woo hoo!
This Kindle book is all about Science Fair Projects for Kids and is for sale below.
Perfect Summer Project: Create Your First Info Product!
Before I get into any details about a great summer project for you and/or your children, I want to thank all the veterans who have served to preserve the freedoms enjoyed in the United States. As the daughter AND spouse of a US veteran, I know the sacrifices that come with military service and I am truly grateful.
Now, since Memorial Day in the US is the unofficial start of summer, I thought it would be fun to have a Memorial Day sale on my Product Creation course!
A Tribute to Maurice Sendak
My favorite children's illustrator has passed away. Maurice Sendak died today. While he is best known for his book "Where the Wild Things Are," I knew him best as the man who illustrated my FAVORITE childhood book: A Kiss for Little Bear.
As a general rule, I am not very attached to books…never really have been. I'm definitely not like many homeschool moms who dream of a home filled with bookcases from floor to ceiling. But we always had books around when I was growing up and had plenty of books for our children to read until we purged 95% of what we owned to begin our travel lifestyle.
Look at what an 8 yr old can do!
Did you know I am a published author? Yep. Well, on Kindle I am. I actually have 10 titles on my virtual bookshelf for Kindle (2 aren't live), I have another finished and waiting to upload and another in the works. I am really nothing special…if I can do it, anyone can do it.
Here's a screen shot of my account…I did black out the titles and ASIN numbers for privacy.
